To develop the life style and strengthen the welfare of the Clerks who works in the offices of Advocates of Madras High Court, - MADRAS HIGH COURT ADVOCATE CLERKS WELFARE ASSOCIATION was established on 30th January 1995.

Mr. Ayyappan, who has the nature character of helping others is the Founder of MADRAS HIGH COURT ADVOCATE CLERKS WELFARE ASSOCIATION  (MHACWA).  Subsequent to its establishment, MHACWA has sent circular to all the Advocate Clerks throughout Tamil Nadu intimating its establishment and activities and submitted a petition to Tamil Nadu Government through the Association at Madurai on 10th February 1996.

The MHACWA was started with a small group of members in 1995.  Now the Association takes pride in informing that it has more than 200 basic members and a good number of Committee Members and office bearers.

Madras High Court Advocate Clerks Association has supported to form Pondicherry High Court Advocate Clerks Federation, which was formed with the aim of uniting all the Advocate Clerks Association functioning all over Tamil Nadu.

Giving moral support, professional assistance, financial help to the welfare of the Members is the motto of MADRAS HIGH COURT ADVOCATE CLERKS WELFARE ASSOCIATION.

The Association has conducted, 17 Annual Day Functions during the last 17 years.

The Association conducts Executive Committee and General Body Meetings regularly.

Madras High Court Advocate Clerks Welfare Association is associated with other Advocate Clerks Association in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.

The people who work in High Court Advocate’s offices and have Registered I.D Cards issued by Madras High Court are eligible to join as a Member in MHACWA.
